Pratt's Bottom Churches

Like any proper village we have a village green with a pub, a church, a chapel and a village hall.

All Souls

All Souls Church was built by the Church of England, as the village grew rapidly in the late 19th century. According to Geoffrey Copus, in his excellent book "Chelsfield Chronicles", the village had previously been a fertile recruiting ground for the Mormons due to disaffection with the established church in the early 19th century and the remotesness of Pratts Bottom from the parish church of St Martin's at Chelsfield.

URC chapel

The United Reformed Church was formerly the Congregation Free Church, built it is believed in the early 1900s. Both churches are still very much the focus of village life.
