This community group was established under the leadership of Mel Turtell several years ago with the principal aims of protecting our historic village green, our other green spaces and Fox Wood. The aim is to keep the heart of our village as free from litter as possible. On the first Saturday of most months, a group of volunteers meet on the village green at 11am to pick up rubbish. Why not join us?

Our top priority, is to ensure that the Green is prepared for the two big events which draw our community together and raise lots of money for charity in the process – the Fete in May and ‘Carols on the Green’ in December.
